iPhone 8 design

- Water and dust resistant
- Glass rear, aluminium frame
- Looks similar to iPhone 7 with a home button

Apple says that the new iPhone 8 will come with all new glass rear with three colours: Space grey, silver and with gold finish.

Apple's iPhone 8 boasts the most durable glass ever and is also water and dust resistant. The sound experience is improved with their speakers delivering 25% more sound and deeper bass. And there's no headphone jack.

Unlike the iPhone X which is coming with its all screen and no home button, iPhone 8 has a home button and retains its Touch ID fingerprint scanner.

When we talk about size, we're looking at 138.4 x 67.3 x 7.3mm making it taller, wider and thicker than its previous models. It's also slightly heavier at 148g (iPhone 7 was 138g) but the weight doesn't make much of the difference.

iPhone 8 display

Like the iPhone 7, iPhone 8 too will come with 4.7 inch display which you should be able manage with a single hand. It's not the same display however, Apple is continuously upgrading their Retina HD display which comes with better colour accuracy.

3D Touch is also here. With this feature, you will be able to perform different tasks based on the pressure you apply.

It means, the color palate will automatically adjust according to the lighting conditions giving you a more improved experience.

Though you still get the 1334 x 750 resolution with no full HD display on the 4.7 inch variant with a 326 pixel density.

iPhone 8 Power

iPhone 8 will come with a brand new A11 Bionic Chipset and the GPU will deliver 70% more graphic performance.

Under the hood, iPhone 8's A11 chipset comes with 64 bit architecture with increase performance as compared to the previous A10 chipset of iPhone 7. In fact, iPhone 8 will be 20-30% faster than the previous model and will deliver 70% more graphic performance to the users.

Apple has not revealed the amount of RAM used in iPhone 8 so we have to wait for a week or two to find that out.

iPhone 8 camera

- 12 MP rear facing camera
- 4K videos at 60 fps, 1080p videos at 240 fps

The iPhone 8 will come with a 12 MP rear facing camera with a large sense which draws in 83% more light making your photographs more vibrant and beautiful. It also boasts noise reduction, a wider dynamic range which means you will get brighter shots and videos.

With iPhone 8, Apple is also increasing its video recording capabilities. iPhone 8 will capture 4K footage at 60 fps and slow motion footage at 240 fps - that's double of what iPhone 7 offered.

The front facing 7 MP camera is same as the iPhone 7 and we think it's more than enough to take selfies and live videos.
